Corporate Struggle with Climate Change
Training is planned for all organizations and their employees. It aims to enable institutions to have a climate-friendly structure by integrating what they learn, such as what climate change is, risks brought to institutions and methods of struggle.
The first step involves what climate change is and reflects on the world and economic sectors in Turkey. In addition, general information on Turkey´s position in the international climate change challenge is given.
Secondly, it provides information on the legal, economic and physical risks that climate change presents for institutions, as well as information on how to deal with these risks. It is aimed managers to take into consideration the risks in the annual management plans.
Later, carbon footprint calculation and carbon management methods are explained. Furthermore, data collection for carbon footprint calculation and points that organizations should take note of in reporting are included in the training.
Finally, it is explained the opportunities created for the private sector by climate change struggling and what needs to be done to benefit from these opportunities.
