LCA (Life Cycle Analysis)

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a method of assessing the environmental impact of a product throughout its life. The system of LCA operates according to ISO 14040 and 14044 Standards. Today, LCA analyzes are the basis of eco-labeling systems, especially Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). In particular, LCA analysis, which has become very important in the building sector, also helps to earn points in LEED certification systems.

LCA studies are carried out with special software and in order to be able to model the system in software, it is necessary to have a certain knowledge about LCA first. At this point you will learn the following with this one day training:

– understand the LCA concept and its importance,

– learn LCA´s system,

– Understand the relationship of LCA with other environmental and energy-focused systems (EPD, LEED, etc.)
