Autodesk Ecotect Analysis – Daylight Training through
The energy consumption in buildings varies according to many parameters starting from the orientation of the building. In order to maximize benefits in terms of energy in these variables, it is necessary to make the right decisions starting from the design phase of the building.
Daylight analysis, which is the indispensable part of sustainable buildings, analyzes design decisions that directly affect building energy consumption such as building orientation, building form and shading. Furthermore, when the comfort of building users is considered, natural lighting and glare analysis are designed to make living spaces more comfortable. Thus, buildings with high energy efficiency and interior quality are designed.
The followings will be examined under Ecotect daylight analysis training, which will be provided by LEED APs who have been involved in green building projects within ERKE:
– Building orientation in the direction of climate data,
– Environmental building shading analysis,
– Determination of location and size of facade openings,
– Analysis of indoor daylight data
